Terms & Conditions of Sale

GENERAL

Goods are subject to availability and may vary from those advertised. You must decide before ordering if the good are suitable for your needs.

We are not obliged to accept your order or offer you credit terms. No contract is made with you until the goods are dispatched.

PRICES & PAYMENT

All prices shown are strictly net and are subject to change without prior notification. All products will be invoiced at the price ruling on the day of order and are exclusive of VAT which will be charged at the rate prevailing at the time of order.

We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque, credit or debit card or cash. Credit card & Debit card payments are taken at the point of customer order unless a Credit Account has been approved by Select Coffee Services.   

Goods bought on credit must be paid for in 30 days.

We remain the owner of the goods you purchase until you have paid for them in full. We can retrieve and resell them if they are not paid for in full. This applies to all goods we supply to you and to any money owing in respect of any transaction with you.

Under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002 we can exercise our statutory right to charge interest and an administrative charge on all overdue invoices.

DELIVERY

Any dates or times are approximate and early or late delivery will not be an acceptable reason for refusing goods. The seller shall determine the method, date & time, and cost of delivery. If the goods do not arrive, are incomplete, are the wrong goods or are damaged when you open them, you must inform our office within 24 hours on 01733 237100.

After delivery, you are responsible for protecting the goods against damage or loss.

We reserve the right to charge £4.95 for delivery of any order with less than a net value of £60.00.

CANCELLATION   

You cannot cancel an order once we have accepted it unless this is agreed with our authorised representative.  

RETURNS

Select Coffee Services does not operate a sales return policy, but may at their discretion take goods back if they are unopened, unused and in perfect condition. There will be a handling charge of 20% of the invoiced price or £15 whichever is the greatest.

GUARANTEE & LIABILITY

On all equipment sales, you get the benefit of any manufacturers warranty. We do not provide any warranties ourselves and we exclude any warranties express or implied by statute, common law or any other kind. Under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 we exclude liability for claims regarding the quality or fitness for purpose of any goods or otherwise which consumers can make under the Sales of Goods Act 1979.

We do not accept any liability for direct or indirect or consequential losses or loss of profits.

PLEASE NOTE

These Terms & Conditions shall automatically take priority over the buyers’ conditions of purchase regardless of their content and the buyers act of providing an order constitutes an unqualified acceptance of the sellers’ Terms & Conditions of trading.

Where you provide Select Coffee Services with personal or business data you understand that the data will be held securely in confidence and processed for the purpose of carrying out the company’s business & associated activities.  Select Coffee Services fully adheres to GDPR & only uses data for transactional purposes, and not for any form of marketing.
